There are four major races you can play in Archaea.

Varans
Varans are a stalwart, short, sturdy and industrious race of dwarves created by the celestial god Regin Var.
Lyrians
Lyrians come from a different world than Archaea and have experienced a tragic transformation.
Zarians
Zarians are a deeply religious, humanoid species with striking, avian/reptile-like features.
Humans
Humans are the most diverse in Archaea, having developed various societies, from nomadic tribes to vast empires.
